FLY WITH A SMILE

The Challenge
Although Jetstar Airways is the world’s best low-cost airlines since 2011 by Skytrax. They are constantly competing against many other emerging airlines. To upkeep and further increase their seat rate, Jetstar saw the needs to engage and retain their passengers’ loyalty.

The Solution
We kicked off by initiating social media contents and contests to interact with their followers. One of the most effective social media campaigns was #FridayFreeFlights contest which Jetstar offered return flight tickets for a weekend getaways to the winners. But with a catch – Followers were asked to post their goofy selfie with their passport on instagram and hashtag #FridayFreeFlights. Creative themes such as face swap and valentine couple were also implemented for subsequent contests. Then we produced online and offline magazines with inspiring contents by interviewing local influencers and celebrities such as street magician Petey Majik and Emma Booth about their insights for cultural food and must-visit spots in the cities they lived in.

The Result
• The successful #FridayFreeFlights campaign received over 2,500 submissions and high engagement rate on facebook.

• The online and offline magazines were highly praised by the passengers for its insightful content and photography.
